My journey as a designer started when I was assigned to remake my company's website during my role as a communications specialist. I was so fascinated by how the utilization of psychology and information architecture could create such profoundly meaningful experiences for people that I made a career pivot into the field of UI/UX.
As a designer, I use an iterative design process that champions the understanding of user needs. This process often involves a balanced application of research, design principles, development feasibility, and user empathy.
In conjunction with understanding user needs, understanding the "why" behind a product is also essential for creating great user experiences in any digital product.
